Residential Housing
Support Services

Inner city communities and communities of color often experience disproportionate rates of homelessness compared to other populations. Residential transitional housing services like Future House offer a critical intervention to address these disparities by providing a safe and supportive space for individuals in need. By specifically targeting the unique needs faced by communities of color, these services help reduce the disparities in homelessness rates and provide a pathway to stable housing solutions.

Education, Training
& Development

Education, training, and development services offered as part of our residential transitional housing program provides residents with the opportunity to acquire new skills and ways to enhance existing ones. Yes, we help residents prepare for and obtain employment! Our programs encompass vocational training, job readiness workshops, financial literacy classes, and other relevant educational opportunities. By equipping residents with valuable skills, these services enhance their employability, increase confidence, and improve their chances for long-term stability.

Wraparound Services, Case Management & Victim Support

Wraparound services, case management, and victim support ensure that residents receive comprehensive, individualized support that addresses their unique needs. These services take a holistic approach, considering the multiple dimensions of residents' lives, including housing, employment, education, mental health, physical health, and safety. Our team is even equipped to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's specific needs and goals. Through ongoing assessment and consultation, our case managers are able to identify strengths, skills gaps, and resources to support resident’s needs.

Program
Expectations

We serve men and women over the age of 18. At this time, we are not able to support youth. All residents are expected to actively engage in all prescribed programming to remain in the Future House. Residents are also required to abide by all Future Residential Alternatives, NFP rules and guidelines, including, but not limited to: respect of personal space, keeping the facility well-maintained, quiet hours, visitor policies and more. Our goal is to create an environment where our residents can thrive and transition to a better, more productive future.

“Sustainability ensures that transitional housing programs can provide support & resources consistently & without fail. You can count on us for continuity of support. Our programs are built to last!”
